Why do we capture life stories, family history and genealogy?

...because we’re family history nuts and are saddened and a tad alarmed that the once flourishing pastime of storytelling between young and old has faded and stories are now being lost forever.

It is heartening, however, when we hear someone say, ‘I wish I knew my grandmother, she must have led such an interesting life,’ or the fact that there is a huge resurgence of interest in geneology because it restores our faith that a
lot of people are, indeed, still interested in the past but are a little too busy to know it.

That’s where Pen On Paper comes in because we specialise in helping you manage, create or piece together anything relating to your family history. And we’re not talking about a dry bunch of names and dates that might be gleaned from a geneology search. We’re talking about products that are beautifully tangible and keepable and tell stories from people (just ordinary people like
you or I) that give a uniquely personal account of a time passed. Stories that are truly relevant to a family who can only benefit from knowing a much greater
part of their heritage, where they’ve come from and why they, at times, behave
so strangely.

Everyone has a unique story; a grandparent, an eccentric aunt or uncle, a father, a mother, yourself. These stories are worth telling and preserving forever.
